Forest of Dean District Scouts
2nd Mitcheldean Scout Group is part of the Royal Forest of Dean district. The district provides activities and events for young people, leadership training and support, the loan of equipment, and runs the Explorer Scout Section for 14-18 year olds. To find out more, click here.

Gloucestershire Scouts
2nd Mitcheldean Scout Group as part of the Royal Forest of Dean District Scouts is also a member of the County of Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire Scouts provide activities and events for young people, leadership training and support, the loan of equipment, and runs the Scout Network Section for 18-25 year olds. The Scout Association
The Scout Association governs all Scouting activities across the United Kingdom and provides leaders with the support and guidance needed to ensure the activities run are safe and relevant to our young people. They also run national events such as Jamboree Camps, Winter Camps and more adventurous activities. There are a number of national campsites and activity centres across the UK that provide residential experiences for our young people, corporate events and school residential trips.
